Senior Manager, Product Design
This is a Hybrid position located in Plano, TX. Relocation is required if you are not located in the Dallas, TX area.
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Design Leader who is adept at navigating a data‑heavy and highly regulated organization and managing a diverse design team. This leader will drive the design strategy and execution across several key areas: internal systems, AI initiatives, mobile app design, and content design.
Role ExpectationsAs a Senior Manager of Product Design, you’ll combine your craft expertise and people leadership skills with an understanding of our customers and the business to co‑create innovative solutions to complex problems, drive product strategy and create a thriving team culture of high‑performing designers.
- Product Design Expertise: Demonstrate established expertise in product design across interaction, visual and service design; collaborate with cross‑functional partners to optimize tools, platforms, frameworks and design systems; develop artifacts such as vision stories, journey maps, blueprints, high‑fidelity designs and prototypes.
- Leadership: Reinforce a positive and inclusive team environment, set goals aligned with portfolio strategy, manage stakeholders, remove barriers and train and develop designers to reach their full potential.
- Strategic Direction: Shape product direction and outcomes by leveraging deep design expertise, user insights and business understanding; drive alignment across product, tech and business partners.
- Human‑Centered: Advocate for human‑centered methodologies that align customer needs and business goals using data, research insights and design expertise.
- Business‑Focused: Demonstrate strong knowledge of products, processes, customers, competitors and market trends to shape how Design engages the portfolio.
- Problem‑Solving: Own the problem‑solving approach, apply good judgment and bring exceptional creativity to solution exploration.
- Collaboration: Engage partner expertise and perspectives across the organization to support workstream projects and identify needed resources.
- Communication: Present work at all levels, model a strategic human‑centered approach, integrate data, research and design frameworks, influence stakeholders and achieve desired results.
- At least 6 years of experience in a Product Design role.
- At least 6 years of experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- At least 2 years of experience in a people‑leadership role.
- At least 8 years in a Product Design role.
- At least 8 years working with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Experience contributing to an established design system.
- Experience collaborating with product, tech and business leaders.
- Experience leading design projects or teams.
- Experience working in heavily regulated, data‑heavy problem spaces.
Plano, TX: $175,500 – $200,300 for Senior Manager, Design. (Employment is full‑time.)
