Cloud Security Lead​/Architect

Mroads is looking for a "Cloud Security Lead/Architect" for one of the direct clients in Plano, TX.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Engineering Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on technical leader who can drive execution, lead daily stand‑ups, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions. This role requires strong expertise in AWS cloud technologies, security best practices, and modern application architectures.

• Lead and run daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and technical discussions
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (product, QA, Dev Ops, security) to ensure timely delivery
• Provide technical leadership and hands‑on development support when required
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure cloud‑based solutions
• Ensure best practices in cloud architecture, security, and CI/CD pipelines
• Mentor team members and review code to maintain high engineering standards
• Drive troubleshooting and resolution of production issues

• VPC and networking
• EKS and ECS
• OIDC, Identity Providers (IdP)
• JWT, AWS Cognito
• DAST and SAST tools

• Experience with mobile development stacks
• Prior experience in a technical lead or engineering manager role
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
