Location: Remote (United States)

Salary: 80K - 100K

Contract: 6-month contract to permanent

Overview

We’re seeking a skilled VoIP Administrator to oversee and maintain our enterprise VoIP phone systems, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient communication across multiple locations. The role will also lead the integration of new sites into the existing infrastructure, minimizing downtime and ensuring a smooth transition.

Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, and maintain VoIP systems and desk phones.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and apply necessary updates or patches.
• Plan and execute VoIP migrations for newly acquired facilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless onboarding.
• Validate connectivity, call routing, and feature functionality post-migration.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for VoIP-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of configurations and migration plans.
• Generate reports on system health, usage, and migration progress.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience managing VoIP systems (e.g., Ring Central, Cisco, Avaya, or similar).
• Experience with SIP protocols, call routing, IVRs, and PBX systems.
• Proven track record of successful VoIP migrations and integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS).
• Cisco CCNA Voice or Collaboration (Preferred).
• CompTIA Network+ (Preferred).
