Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Dev Ops Lead to architect, implement, and lead modern cloud and Dev Ops practices supporting large-scale, business-critical platforms. This role combines hands‑on technical leadership with people management, driving CI/CD automation, cloud reliability, security, and developer productivity in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing Dev Ops engineering team while contributing as a hands‑on technical leader.
  • Define and execute the Dev Ops roadmap
    , standards, and best practices across CI/CD, automation, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and configuration management.
  • Architect, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines enabling rapid, reliable, and secure releases.
  • Drive automation across build, testing, deployment, and environment provisioning to reduce manual effort.
  • Own cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS; Azure/GCP exposure acceptable), including architecture design, provisioning, cost optimization, and security.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or similar tools.
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability practices using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
  • Partner with SRE and Support teams to improve incident management, root‑cause analysis, and uptime

  • Define and implement SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs to measure system reliability.
  • Integrate security (Dev Sec Ops ) into development and deployment pipelines; conduct security reviews and vulnerability assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR where applicable.
  • Support microservices, containerized architectures, and Kubernetes‑based platforms
    .
  • Improve developer experience through self‑service tooling and platform engineering principles.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.
  • 2+ years of people management or technical leadership experience.
  • Strong expertise with AWS (Azure/GCP experience acceptable).
  • Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, ARM).
  • Strong background in Linux systems, networking, and security best practices
    .
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
    , and container orchestration.
  • Solid scripting skills (
    Python, Bash, Power Shell
    , etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross‑team collaboration skills.
Preferred / Additional Skills
  • Experience supporting connected vehicle, mobility, or telematics platforms
    .
  • Strong understanding of platform engineering and developer enablement models.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and QA enablement.
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast‑paced, agile environment
    .
