ACE - EDI Business Analyst

• Knowledge of the logistics industry, specifically air & ocean freight and customs domain.
• Mapping data between different systems and ensuring seamless integration.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data exchange and system integration.
• Ensuring accuracy in data transmission and compliance with industry standards.
• Defining and managing EDI test cases, system testing, and supporting UAT.
• Using EDI software tools such as IBM Sterling Integrator, TIBCO, WSO2, etc.
• Identifying and documenting business requirements for downstream digital solutions.
• Participating in solution ideation, design sprints, and user interviews to gather and synthesize information.
• Benchmarking industry best‑practices and existing solutions in the market.
• Assisting the product owner in detailing features and user stories of digital solutions, ensuring stories are well‑prepared for design and development.
• Translating end‑user requirements into features and software functionalities, documented in industry standard formats.
• Defining clear acceptance criteria and ensuring user stories are ready for design and development.

The EDI Business Analyst will report to the EDI Product Owner and collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT and Business teams.

• Understanding of technical aspects of EDI, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML‑based EDI.
• Excellent communication skills: articulating ideas clearly, active listening, and ensuring shared understanding among team members and stakeholders.
• Focus on continuous improvement for both the team and personal development, encouraging regular reflection on work practices and fostering a culture of growth.
• Managing EDI projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring progress.
