Linux Infrastructure System Admin- Plano

Our client, a leading financial company is seeking a Linux Infrastructure System Admin to work in Plano, Texas. As a Linux Infrastructure System Admin, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support Department supporting critical core components and innovative projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Linux Infrastructure System Admin

Location: Plano, TX

Pay Range: $60-$65/hr

• Manage and implement end-to-end Linux-based infrastructure supporting essential components such as databases, GRID computing, and enterprise job schedulers.
• Support migration projects related to servers, Active Directory, data centers, and application upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
• Candidates will be working on Rotational Shifts including weekends and the shift hours will be between 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM CST.
• Develop automation tools, manage releases, and participate in capacity planning to enhance operational efficiency.

• Extensive experience in Linux administration, particularly on bare-metal systems, with a focus on supporting server and application infrastructure.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• Strong operational skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex production and network issues effectively.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible or Python, and monitoring tools such as ELK, Prometheus, or Splunk.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and support rotational shifts including weekends.
