A Senior Platform Engineer is first and foremost a software developer who specializes in the domain of the processes and resources necessary to enable the development, build, test, deploy, and release of changes to enterprise applications delivered to market while ensuring this occurs as frequently as needed, with the least amount of error possible, and the maximum uptime. Our product, a dynamic virtual platform and its resources include an automated software factory, its logistics and utilities, a digital showroom, and consumer feedback loops.
Our customers encompass the entire IT organization including ourselves.
We’re seeking a highly skilled Dev Ops Engineer with deep hands‑on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and networking. This role requires strong proficiency in Terraform and a solid understanding of cloud‑native services, automation practices, and design for high availability.
Key Responsibilities- 5+ Years of experience in design, provisioning, and management of GCP infrastructure using Terraform
- 5+ Years of experience in building and supporting high‑availability and active‑active systems across multiple regions
- 5+ Years of experience in configuring and maintaining networking components including VPCs, subnets, and Google Interconnect
- 5+ Years of experience in provisioning and managing GCP services such as Dataflow, GKE, Cloud Spanner, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Run
- 5+ Years of experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines and ArgoCD
- 5+ Years of experience in securely managing secrets and credentials across environments
- 4+ Years of experience provisioning and managing GCP service accounts with appropriate IAM roles
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to ensure scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance
- 5+ Years of experience with Terraform in GCP environments
- 5+ Years of experience with deep understanding of GCP networking and hybrid connectivity
- 4+ Years of experience with listed GCP services (Dataflow, GKE, Cloud Spanner, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run)
- 4+ Years of experience with Azure Pipelines and ArgoCD
- 4+ Years of experience in secrets management and service account provisioning
- 4+ Years of experience designing and operating high‑availability and fault‑tolerant systems
- Solid grasp of infrastructure automation and Git Ops practices
- GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Dev Ops Engineer)
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $96,156.00-$. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
