We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join an enterprise technology team supporting large-scale Azure cloud infrastructure and data analytics platforms. This is an ongoing opportunity focused on building secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.
Location:
Charlotte, NC;
Plano, TX; or Jersey City, NJ
Schedule:
Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Duration: 12+ months
Employment: W2 only

- Build and automate enterprise-scale Azure infrastructure using Terraform and IaC
- Design and develop Azure landing zones and foundational cloud platform services
- Automate cloud provisioning, IAM, networking, security policies, and observability
- Develop CI/CD pipelines supporting cloud data and analytics platforms
- Build resilient, scalable infrastructure with a focus on security and Fin Ops
- Develop cloud service catalogs for application and Dev Ops teams
- Partner with Information Security and infrastructure teams to implement secure cloud solutions
- Translate business and technical requirements into cloud architecture standards, blueprints, and playbooks
- Work within an Agile environment to deliver cloud platform initiatives
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise-scale cloud environments
- Strong hands‑on Azure experience
- 4+ years of Terraform experience developing configurations and modules
- Experience building IaaS, PaaS, and IaC solutions
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, IAM, landing zones, monitoring, and logging
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code, or policy-as-code
- Strong Python or other infrastructure automation experience
- Experience with Azure data and analytics services
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Azure Databricks
- Microsoft Synapse
- Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Microsoft Purview, or Power BI
- Platform engineering experience
- Linux/UNIX administration
- Financial services experience
- Experience with cloud security, networking, and infrastructure teams
