IT Consultant
Taidou is a private management consulting firm built around a simple idea: real, measurable results for our clients, not reports that gather dust. Our consulting practice brings eight service lines — AI & Engineering, Assurance, Finance, Global Services, Human Capital, Project Management, Regulatory, Risk & Forensic, and Transformation Consulting — to organizations in complex, regulated sectors across aerospace & defense, consumer, education, energy, financial services, government & public services, health care, insurance, sports, technology, media & telecom, and utilities & renewables.
We are senior-led and built flat: the people in the first conversation are the people doing the work, every engagement starts with a written list of what we are deliberately not doing, and we hand over only once the change is running — to named owners inside the client. We take no referral fees, reseller margins or commissions from any vendor, which is what lets us tell a client the answer is not to buy anything.
The RoleAs a Senior Consultant in Assurance, you own a defined workstream on client engagements — the analysis, the design and the working sessions that move it from diagnosis to adoption. Our practice covers Technology Assurance, AI & Model Assurance, Controls & Reporting Readiness and Board & Transaction Assurance. You will be named on the engagement from the first conversation, work directly with client leaders, and see your work running in the business rather than only in a deck.
WhatYou'll Do
- Own a workstream within Assurance engagements — for example Technology Assurance or AI & Model Assurance — from analysis through adoption.
- Carry out the core analysis and design work: access & change, interfaces, configuration controls, cyber readiness.
- Run working sessions and interviews with client stakeholders, and turn them into clear findings and options.
- Build the models, artefacts and written material the engagement needs, to a standard a client executive can rely on.
- Track progress, risks and decisions for your workstream and escalate early.
- Contribute to proposals, scoping and the practice's methods and knowledge.
- Help client teams take ownership so the change keeps running after we leave.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in assurance work, in consulting or in industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and structured-writing skills.
- Confident working directly with client stakeholders.
- Able to manage your own workstream with limited supervision.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Experience in one or more of our industries: aerospace & defense, consumer, education, energy, financial services, government & public services, health care, insurance, sports, technology, media & telecom, and utilities & renewables.
- Consulting background combined with time in industry running the work.
- Relevant professional certifications for the service line.
- Senior-led delivery — no bench, no handoff between the team that wins the work and the team that runs it.
- Named scope and named exclusions, agreed before work starts.
- Handover after adoption, to named owners, with a follow-up review we schedule ourselves.
- Independence from vendors: no referral fees, reseller margins or commissions.
