About the Role:

The Technical Analyst will focus on Monitoring & Event Management, Incident Management, and Level I triage of networking. This role involves working with various network components including routing & switching, perimeter security, traffic management, content inspection infrastructure, and emerging technologies such as Software Defined Networking. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of networking protocols and the ability to adopt new technologies and troubleshooting methodologies.

Responsibilities:
Provide operational support for network environments, including Switching & Routing, Firewall, Traffic Management, Content Inspection, and DNS. Identify service impacts and interpret monitors, dashboards, traffic captures, and logs using tools such as Splunk, Sev One, Watson AI Ops, Wireshark, Net Scout, and Gigamon. Monitor IT infrastructure services to identify potential production failure scenarios and react according to business impact. Initiate production support triage efforts for network infrastructure incidents, manage bridge line troubleshooting, and engage appropriate teams.

Provide status updates and technical details for awareness communications, ensuring accuracy and scheduling necessary follow-ups. Ensure data quality and completion of incident tickets, accurately recording all impacts in the system of record. Work on ad-hoc reports and offline incidents as directed by senior team members or leadership. Promote and enforce production governance during triage/testing and fix efforts, exercising judgment within defined procedures.

Adhere to design standards and global design authority processes and procedures. Assemble professional documents based on existing templates, providing accurate work descriptions with assumptions and caveats.

Required Skills:

Basic understanding of troubleshooting methodologies for networking problems. Basic understanding of Network Automation tools and processes. Self-starter/self-directed, organized, and detail-oriented. Strong technical acumen and analytical skills. Excellent client interfacing skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience aligning actions to business impact and service restoration. Demonstrates ownership and accountability. Ability to operate with colleagues across different time zones with a flexible approach to working hours.

Compensation Hourly Rate: 42$-45$ per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications. Benefits:
