Purchasing Supplier Development Buying Associate ###W2

Purchasing Supplier Development (PSD) team is seeking a highly motivated Purchasing Supplier Development Buying Associate to support supplier management and purchasing operations. This role will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage purchasing processes, reporting, documentation, and supplier communications while ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost objectives are met.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage SAP Ariba Purchase Requisition s (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs)
• Support supplier onboarding, follow‑up, and issue resolution
• Manage weekly reports and purchasing data
• Track supplier requests, payments, pricing, and status updates
• Maintain and improve purchasing procedures and documentation
• Support meetings, events, travel arrangements, and other administrative activities
• Assist with process improvements and supplier development initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Buying, or Supply Chain
• Experience supporting supplier relationships and purchasing activities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros)
• Power BI experience
• Associate Degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Automotive industry experience
• Toyota/TMNA experience
• Visio or Lucidchart experience
• Process improvement and gap analysis experience
