Job Responsibilities- Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of major public works and municipal construction projects.
- Manage multiple large‑scale capital projects concurrently, from conception through completion.
- Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, scopes of work, and resource allocations.
- Prepare cost estimates, ensure effective budget control, approvals, and documentation for audits.
- Manage procurement processes including RFQs, contractor selection, and contract administration.
- Oversee construction quality, compliance with codes/regulations, and adherence to specifications.
- Identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and resolve project challenges.
- Facilitate project meetings, communicate progress to leadership, stakeholders, and governing bodies.
- Represent projects to City Council or other public forums as needed.
- Support the Senior Construction Project Manager during design and construction phases.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive construction project management experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory role on midsize to large projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple large‑scale capital projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, decision‑making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Design‑Bid‑Build, Design‑Build, and CMAR delivery methods.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, laws, safety regulations, and construction practices.
- Experience delivering large facilities projects ($30M–$100M).
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 (preferred).
- PMP, CCM, CQM, OSHA 10+ certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and driver’s license verification.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.
