Senior Director, Global Services

We are senior-led and built flat: the people in the first conversation are the people doing the work, every engagement starts with a written list of what we are deliberately not doing, and we hand over only once the change is running — to named owners inside the client. We take no referral fees, reseller margins or commissions from any vendor, which is what lets us tell a client the answer is not to buy anything.

As a Senior Director in Global Services, you lead a significant part of the service line across its offerings — Location & Sourcing Strategy, Transition & Migration, Vendor Governance and Shared Services Design. You own the largest client relationships and programmes, build the team and the market presence, and are a senior voice in how the practice grows.

• Lead a significant area of the Global Services service line, with accountability for revenue, margin and quality.
• Own Taidou's most important client relationships and programmes in the service line.
• Originate and close large, multi-year engagements.
• Build the offering: methods, assets, partnerships and market positioning.
• Lead directors and senior managers; own hiring, development and staffing decisions.
• Represent Taidou externally through speaking, writing and industry relationships.
• Work with the Principal and Partners on practice strategy.

• 15+ years of relevant experience in global services, including practice or business-line leadership.
• A strong network of executive buyers and a record of originating large engagements.
• Deep expertise across several areas of the practice.
• Experience leading senior teams and building capability.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

• Experience in one or more of our industries: aerospace & defense, consumer, education, energy, financial services, government & public services, health care, insurance, sports, technology, media & telecom, and utilities & renewables.
• Consulting background combined with time in industry running the work.
• Relevant professional certifications for the service line.

• Senior-led delivery — no bench, no handoff between the team that wins the work and the team that runs it.
• Named scope and named exclusions, agreed before work starts.
• Handover after adoption, to named owners, with a follow-up review we schedule ourselves.
• Independence from vendors: no referral fees, reseller margins or commissions.

This role is contract-to-hire. You join Taidou as an independent contractor for an initial onboarding period (typically 90 days), during which we agree your goals together. Once the conversion criteria set out in your offer are met, you convert to a full-time position with benefits.

Compensation is competitive and set according to experience and scope, and includes commission on the business you originate or grow. Full details are confirmed in your offer letter.
