Bowhead seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead Bowhead Manufacturing & Product's Quality Management System at our Plano, TX location. The role involves leading and managing manufacturing and warehouse staff, working closely with management personnel to develop and initiate processes that enhance operational efficiency.

• Managing all operations related to manufacturing
• Developing and tracking metrics to continuously monitor and improve the production process
• Coordinating production with material planning, shipping logistics, and program management
• Overseeing all manufacturing activities including master scheduling, production planning, receiving, assembly, test, inventory, and shipping
• Ensuring timely internal response to operational issues impacting customer expectations and project cycle time performance
• Emphasizing safety policies and procedures compliance
• Driving continuous improvement efforts utilizing Lean initiatives to reduce costs and support attainment of established goals

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, with at least three to five (3‑5) or more years of prior manufacturing management experience
• Organized and strategic leader with a creative approach toward building solutions and implementing improvements and corrective actions
• Experience with ISO 9001 / AS9100 Standards, 6 Sigma tools, and Statistics
• APICS certification (CPIM) a plus
• Experience with an ERP system highly preferred/desired
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and good judgment for working alone or as part of a team

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

There are currently no Security Clearance requirements for this position; however, candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check. Because of the location, US Citizenship is required. Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement if necessary.
