Maintenance Techs - Manufacturing; SHIFTS shift differential

Job Description

Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their assigned department and lab needs. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the lab.

Principal duties and responsibilities include:

• Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment, maintaining PM checklists
• Handling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down time
• Services and maintains Edgers, Generators and Blockers
• Cleaning, changing parts, performing checks, calibrating
• Identify issues and perform repairs
• Assist with installations, fabrications, servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab
• Follow all safety measures, "Lock out / Tag out" procedures and utilize PPE if required

• No specific education required
• 1‑3 years previous experience in industrial maintenance, diagnosis and repair (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC, etc.)
• Experience in manufacturing and optical industry desirable
• Must be able to read and write English Requires accuracy, some mental effort and occasional organization and planning
