Inventory - Production Lab Techs; SHIFTS shift differential

The addition of a new shift creates more opportunities at our optical lab for career growth.

• Shift 2A:
  Sundays through Tuesdays (3:30 pm - 4:00 am)
• Shift 2B:
  Wednesdays through Fridays (3:30 pm - 4:00 am)

Starts at $17.05 entry level, including 10% shift differential. Plus extra bi-weekly bonus opportunities. We also have generous PTO plan and many other benefits.

Our new hires will initially train with a current shift working Sundays - Thursdays (4:00 pm - 12:30 am). Once new shift personnel are staffed and trained fully, we will implement the permanent 2A & 2B shift schedules.

Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their assigned department and lab needs. Production Lab Techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers. Responsibilities involve observing data on job orders, sorting and organizing job orders, RF scanning and other department specific tasks.

We are currently seeking associates for our Inventory Department.

• Printing orders, placing tickets in job trays
• De-boxing lenses from the manufacturers, placing on the correct side of the tray for processing
• Pre-inspecting lenses for visual imperfections, sending defects back to manufacturer
• Picking frames and lenses by locating bin number on the Rx, scanning barcodes on trays and frames
• Organizing job trays, sorting jobs and placing into production
• Stocking duties, receiving, inventory periodically
• Return lenses and frames to inventory for cancelled orders
• Research order failures, load new frames in DVI, process lens breakage

• No specific education required
• No specific experience required for entry level but prior inventory, warehouse or mass production experience is preferred
• Prior related or optical experience is desirable
• Must be able to read and write English
