Manufacturing Technician/Mechanical Assembly - Battery Cabinet/UPS Battery

Responsible for all aspects of prepping and loading UPS battery cabinets units including enforcing and maintaining all safety and environmental requirements for the area.

• Build battery cabinet systems and install batteries in UPS cabinets including LP and SG series
• Inventory Control: open/close work orders, pull units from inventory, manage inventory locations and serial number database
• Ability to use the following tools: drill motor, power screw driver, digital volt meter, Hypot, Power Supply AC/DC., lift table, insulated tools, torque driver and battery handling devices.

Requirements include:

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED
• Experience:
  
  6 months to 1 year experience in mechanical assembly
• Ability to perform repeated 35 pounds lifts throughout the day
• Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings
• Ability to work within a high voltage electrical environment
