Our optical manufacturing facility is growing and expanding! We’re excited to offer new openings for Maintenance technicians. The addition of a new shift creates more opportunities at our optical lab for career growth.

Schedules

• Shift 2A:
  Sundays through Tuesdays (3:30 pm - 4:00 am)
• Shift 2B:
  Wednesdays through Fridays (3:30 pm - 4:00 am)

Pay & Extras

Base pay (DOE) plus a 10% shift differential and extra bi‑weekly bonus opportunities. PTO plan and many other benefits.

Training

New hires will initially train with a current shift working Sundays - Thursdays (4:00 pm - 12:30 am). Once new shift personnel are staffed and fully trained, we will implement the permanent 2A & 2B shift schedules.

Job Description

Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their assigned department and lab needs. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the lab.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities Include

• Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment, maintaining PM checklists
• Handling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down time
• Services and maintains Edgers, Generators and Blockers
• Cleaning, changing parts, performing checks, calibrating
• Identify issues and perform repairs
• Assist with installations, fabrications, servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab
• Follow all safety measures, "Lock out / Tag out" procedures and utilize PPE if required

Qualifications

• No specific education required
• 1-3 years previous experience in industrial maintenance, diagnosis and repair (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC, etc.)
• Experience in manufacturing and optical industry desirable
• Must be able to read and write English
• Requires accuracy, some mental effort and occasional organization and planning
