Production Lab Tech – Optical Edger

We’re seeking an experienced production lab tech to join our optical manufacturing facility in Plano, TX. Prior relevant experience will be essential.

Base pay PLUS bi-weekly bonus opportunities, a generous PTO plan and many other benefits.

Mondays-Fridays, 4:00am – 12:30pm

Production Lab Techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers.

This role involves:

• Operating the optical edger equipment efficiently
• Handling rejects, errors and other delays to resolve issues
• Monitoring job status and ensuring older, rush and hot jobs are prioritized correctly
• RF scanning and observing data on job trays
• Working with other associates in the lab, specifically the Finish Department, to make certain job are moved according to processes and quickly to the Finish team to finalize orders
• Following all SOPs, safety guidelines and meeting production expectations
• Handling any other tasks that may be assigned.

• No specific education required
• Prior optical production with minimum 6 months relevant experience
• Must be able to read and write English
