Looking for an entry-level General Labor job with competitive pay and benefits?
We’re looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to help us sort, process, and manage waste and recyclables at a local waste management center.
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of the facility. You’ll be handling physical tasks like sorting materials, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Prior experience in waste management, recycling, or manufacturing is helpful but not required.

- Sort and process incoming waste and recyclables at the facility
- Operate worksite equipment safely
- Assist with the loading and unloading of waste materials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Support team efforts to improve workflow and efficiency
- Other tasks as needed
- Must capable of performing all job functions including, but not limited to lifting, loading, and riding on landscape waste collection trucks under extreme weather conditions for a minimum 10-hour period up to a 14-hour period during peak seasons or extenuating circumstances related to severe storms.
- If working at the compost facility, laborer must be able to lift 65 lb. bags throughout the workday.
- Team members working in collections must be able to lift 50 lb.
