Mixer​/Machine operator in Plano

Are you seeking a long-term position? A food manufacturing company in Plano is seeking Machine Operators / Mixer. This is a Temp-to-Hire position.

• Push the dual control buttons and move the controls to start and stop the equipment.
• Continually check materials and products for defects, and ensure conformance to specifications and high quality.
• Remove formed products and rework from machines, and place them in trays, carts, or totes.
• Identify and mark materials, products, and samples.
• Load materials and products into machines and equipment, using hand tools.
• Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
• Weigh or measure materials or formed products to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Accurately record production and operational data on paperwork.
• Add raw material ingredients to machines or equipment as required by the manufacturing process.
• Transfer materials and products to and from machinery and equipment, using rolling carts/racks or hand trucks.
• Responsible for reporting food safety problems to their supervisor/lead or someone with authority to initiate action.
• Identify any risk of intentional harm to the facility, personnel, or products and report them to their supervisor.

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

- Friday 12 pm - 8:30 am plus Weekends if needed

$18.50 $ 19 per hour
