Mechanical Assembly Team Lead

Starting pay rate $23/hr

Plano, TX 75074

Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing, with at least 1 years in a leadership or lead role.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, assembly instructions, and work orders.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Experience leading assembly team members.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical assembly issues and implement corrective actions.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (ERP/MRP preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Nice-to-haves:

• Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma experience.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Forklift and overhead crane certification (if applicable).
• Experience working in a fast paced production manufacturing environment.
• Technical certification in mechanical assembly or industrial maintenance.
