Mechanical Engineer

Apollo runs lean, deploys often, and now needs a mid-level Mechanical Engineer who finds that combination exciting rather than terrifying. Here's the long and short of it — Apollo pays $84,000 - $122,000, trusts your 5 years, and lets you own the technology call.

• Own the mid-level Redis workstream that unblocks the rest of Apollo's Plano, TX roadmap
• Re-architect the technology flow so MySQL handles ten times Plano's current load
• Profile Google Cloud memory use and chase down the leaks crashing Plano nodes
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong code-review culture
• Translate technology compliance rules into Redis guardrails baked into the build

• Experience translating Angular complexity for a non-technical audience
• The judgment to distinguish a fire drill from an actual fire
• A portfolio that speaks louder than any line on your resume
• A collaborator who makes the mid-level review feel less like an exam
• Reliable, accountable, and committed to following through
• Proven leadership experience guiding mid-level-level initiatives
• Experience at the mid-level inside a hybrid role
