Texas Endoscopy (Plano Endo-West) – Registered Nurse Endoscopy

Pay $41/hr. 2 shifts per week (usually Monday & Friday). Shift differential available for extra shifts.

About the role

Prepares patients, equipment and room for Endoscopy procedures. Assists physicians with Endoscopy procedures. Requires specialized knowledge, experience and training for endoscope manipulation under the direction of the physician. Follows policies of the Center and demonstrates fiscal responsibility. Maintains current skills and knowledge of Endoscopy procedures and provides multi‑dimensional care for assigned patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, equipment, and room for Endoscopy procedures.
• Assist physicians during Endoscopy procedures.
• Manipulate endoscopes under physician direction.
• Adhere to Center policies and fiscal responsibilities.
• Maintain current skills and knowledge of Endoscopy techniques.
• Provide multi‑dimensional care to assigned patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in Endoscopy (GI).
• Experience in endoscope manipulation under physician direction.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed by the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas.
• General familiarity with medical terminology pertaining to anatomy and Endoscopy procedures.
