DAYTIME HOSPITALIST – ACUTE CARE NP / PA OPENING
Plano, Texas
Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full‑time Hospitalist Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity in Plano, TX. Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of inpatient populations.
Position Details:- Assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&Ps, and follow‑up visits
- Initiate appropriate treatment and diagnostic testing for medical conditions
- Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions
- Round on rehabilitation patients, including long‑term acute care patients
- Document in the EMR system
- Participate in continuous quality improvement processes
- Enjoy working daytime hours: 7 AM – 7 PM | 7 ON / 7 OFF
- Possess strong active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, communication, time management, judgment, and decision‑making skills
- Are Texas licensed as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Hold ACLS certification
- Meet experience preferences:
- PA: 1–2 years of ICU/CVICU experience strongly preferred
- NP: 2 years of NP or RN ICU/CVICU experience required
