Base pay range$17.50/hr - $19.50/hr
Accelerator at Willow Bend, Plano, TX, is looking for a Certified Medication Aide (PRN) to join our full‑time team. In this role you will administer oral and topical medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following state and federal regulations and facility policies.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medication as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
- Record the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
- Observe for and report any reactions or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
- Administer PRN medications in accordance with regulations and facility policy.
- State certification as a nurse aide is required.
- State approved medication administration certification.
- Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.
- Highly developed observation skills.
