As a CNA at Acute Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano, you will work a 12-hour shift, providing patients with personal care, assisting the nursing staff, and delivering exceptional service as part of a multidisciplinary team recognized for their achievements and contributions.

Job Responsibilities- Provide personal care to patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with hospital policy.
- Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for patients.
- Advise nurses of patients’ status throughout the shift.
- Contribute knowledge of patients’ condition/needs to the patient’s care plan.
- Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
- Observe and report on patients’ condition, and document observations as required.
- Comply with procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of patients per established policies and procedures.
- Perform moderate to heavy lifting.
- Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
- Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as required to maintain a hazard‑free environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- State certification as a nursing assistant.
- Current BLS certification.
- Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
