Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA

Overview

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – 2pm to 10pm

Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $19.00/hr accel at Willow Bend in Plano, TX is looking for our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join a team that supports long-term and rehabilitative care.

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise supervising charge nurse of residents’ status at the beginning and end of shift.
• Contribute knowledge of residents’ conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

• State certification as a nursing assistant
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant
