Ethos Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU – Neonatal Intensive Care for a temporary position in Plano, Texas.

• Care for stable infants, maintaining temperature, oral feeding skills and NGT feedings.
• Transport infants for swallowing studies, fluoroscopy and MRI.
• Provide care to infants on various respiratory supports—Oscillator, JET, conventional, CPAP and SiPap.
• Participate in multi‑disciplinary rounds every day and evening.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, PAs, NP, residents, and respiratory therapists who are present on the unit.
• Make quick bedside decisions; be detail‑oriented while understanding the big picture.
• Exhibit enthusiasm, integrity, and a willingness to self‑report errors without fear of reprimand.
• Provide 24/7 care to premature and severely ill newborns.
• Perform basic infant needs such as feeding and diaper changes.
• Perform medical procedures including IV line insertion, tests, and medication administration.
• Assist NICU physicians with procedures and treatments.
• Operate and adjust specialized medical equipment.
• Formulate nursing plans and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Comfort ill newborns and anxious parents and family members.
• Educate parents and family on at‑home care for their newborn.

Job  #. Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend based on the assignment.
