American Traveler is hiring an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring IRF and med-surg experience with a TX or compact RN license.
Requirements- Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
- AHA certifications required
- Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience required
- Inpatient Rehab and Medical-Surgical experience required
- CRRN certification preferred but not required
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds
- Rehab Nursing IRF unit caring for adult patients 18 and older recovering from stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic/post-surgical conditions (hips, knees)
- Patient ratios of 6-7 patients per nurse
- Day shift schedule,
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required between main nursing station and North nursing station as needed
- Uses Cerner EHR
- Provide direct nursing care to rehab patients recovering from stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic surgeries
- Royal blue scrubs required with closed-toe, non-slip shoes (no crocs)
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
