Join the team as a Spray Technician at Invited
, the largest owner/operator of private clubs nationwide.
Maintain the health and appearance of the golf course by applying pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. Operate and maintain spraying equipment, perform routine maintenance, and assist with various groundskeeping activities.
Day to Day Responsibilities- Apply chemicals accurately, record applications, and maintain a current state pesticide license.
- Water and fertilize putting greens, tees, fairways, and roughs according to instructions.
- Operate powered equipment for mowing greens, slopes, collars, roughs, aprons, and tees.
- Operate light equipment for hauling materials and removing debris.
- Perform daily checklists on all equipment use and ensure proper storage.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Grade and prepare soil plant beds, lay sod, plant vegetative material, and seed putting greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
- Assist in construction of new greens, tees, and fairways by grading, preparing soil, and planting.
- Maintain ball washers, water coolers, water hazards, and bunkers for cleanliness.
- Trim trees, prune shrubbery, and cultivate shrubs and flowers as needed.
- Keep all areas free of debris and avoid disturbing golfers.
- Complete daily assignments to meet club standards, maintaining a clean course free of trash and debris.
- Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Follow company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
- Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others.
- Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain required certifications relevant to the role.
- Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
- Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team’s success.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in outdoor maintenance or a related field.
- Technical knowledge of spraying equipment and maintenance of outdoor equipment.
- Primarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, push/pull, twist/bend, lift/carry up to 100 lbs., talk, hear, and see.
