As the Veterinary Technician Shift Lead
, you will play a critical role in overseeing our team of Veterinary Technicians. You will lead by example, facilitating effective communication, coaching, and professional development within your team. Additionally, you will remain hands‑on, delivering high‑quality patient care while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and coach your team to foster strong performance, high productivity, and the consistent delivery of exceptional medical care.
- Maintain expert‑level proficiency in veterinary technician skills, working alongside your team to provide hands‑on, high‑quality patient care.
- Build and strengthen collaborative relationships with hospital leadership, facilitating clear and efficient communication of policies, standards, and performance goals.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to drive service excellence and streamline operational efficiency.
- Actively support team members in anticipating and addressing client and patient needs, especially during challenging or escalated situations, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Coordinate the daily workflow and task assignments for Veterinary Technicians and Assistants to ensure the hospital is staffed effectively and operates efficiently.
- Provide constructive performance feedback and assist in creating improvement plans, schedules, and recruitment strategies to help Veterinary Technicians reach their full potential.
- $28–$32 hourly, based on experience
- Full Time
- Tuesday/Friday/Saturday
- 5 am – 6 pm
- You are a confident and highly skilled Veterinary Technician with proven supervisory experience, dedicated to delivering exceptional client service and top‑knight patient care. (Previous Technician Lead experience is strongly preferred.)
- Outstanding interpersonal skills allow you to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels, from clients to doctors and hospital staff.

- Your exceptional time‑management and organizational skills, paired with a keen attention to detail, enable you to juggle multiple priorities seamlessly.
