Winter 6:45am – 3:30pm;
Summer Monday and Wednesday 5:00am – 1:45pm, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 6:45am – 3:30pm

- Mows and maintains turf and landscaping; prunes and trims trees and shrubs; removes weeds from beds; removes litter, brush and debris from assigned areas.
- Inspects, cleans and maintains tools and equipment.
- Operates power equipment including one‑ton trucks and trailers, push mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, edgers and blowers. Riding mower experience preferred.
- Assists with projects including sod and seed installation, tree planting and minor landscape renovations.
- May assist with set‑up and support of special events.
- Regular and consistent attendance required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- $175 annual boot allowance and $175 annual jean allowance after successful completion of a 6‑month probation.

- Six months (Park I) or one year (Park II) of experience in parks maintenance, landscaping or construction.
- No formal education required; high school diploma or GED preferred for Park II.
- Valid Class “C” driver’s license (obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Pass drug test, driver license check, criminal history background check, periodic CJIS background check where required, SSN verification.
- Knowledge of routine construction, repair and landscape maintenance methods; tool and equipment operation and maintenance.
- Skill in clear verbal and written communication; operating equipment under supervision; following instructions; use of PPE and safety equipment.
