The role offers opportunities for growth, potentially leading to a promotion to Assistant Community Manager.

• Be the first point of contact with prospective residents, current residents, vendors, and Fairfield associates.
• Drive the lease closing process by highlighting community quality and amenities.
• Determine the customer’s needs, resolve or escalated issues as permitted.
• Use a friendly personality to diffuse or resolve difficult situations while nurturing relationships.
• Deliver unmatched service to exceed expectations, maintaining resident retention.
• Meet sales goals, leasing ratios, and maintain milestones in customer service and resident satisfaction throughout the sales process.

• Manage lease files and maintain updated paperwork and computer systems.
• Verify application information and gather revenue verification for LIHTC and/or HUD programs; forward to the property manager for approval.
• Use Yardi accounting software to manage the leasing process.

• Complete marketing and advertising tasks including updating social media sites.
• Maintain knowledge about local market conditions and survey local competition.

• Minimum of one year experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• Knowledge of Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) preferred.
• Strong math skills.
• Typing and computer skills with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience or knowledge in leasing or real estate a plus.
• Ability to close a sale highly preferred.
• Knowledge of tax credit, fair housing, and trade practices a plus.
• Experience using Yardi or related property management software a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

$19.38 - $21.13 hourly, non‑exempt. Range reflects hourly base rate only; does not include allowances or commissions.
