Position: Account Director, Broadcom Software

Account Director, Broadcom Software

As an Account Director, you will drive overall revenue and growth for existing Enterprise customers in the Broadcom Software portfolio (VMware, CA Technologies, Symantec). This is a quota‑carrying position located in Broadcom’s office in Plano, TX, and ADs are expected to be in the office every day.

Responsibilities
  • Employ strong interpersonal and communication skills to successfully identify, qualify, and win sales opportunities.
  • Manage a pipeline of active deals to ensure long‑term book‑of‑business sustainability.
  • Create and achieve long‑term and short‑term account‑based revenue objectives (e.g., Annual Business Plan, Quarterly Territory Plan).
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior‑level decision makers in assigned accounts.
  • Effectively communicate Broadcom’s ability to address customers’ Enterprise Software needs and overall IT business objectives.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in proposal creation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
  • At least 8 years of customer‑facing B2B experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quota.
  • Strong understanding of a value‑based sales approach.
  • Significant experience managing a pipeline of active deals.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience in a startup organization.
  • Strong background in B2B software solutions.
  • VMware certification.
Compensation and Benefits

The On‑Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position is $151,900 – $243,000. OTE includes Sales Incentive Commission per the relevant plan documents. The position may also be eligible for equity.
