Dex Imaging is a leading provider of document handling equipment and services with multiple offices and locations throughout the United States.

We are looking for a Sales Canvasser to identify sales opportunities, qualify and engage appropriate contacts, and drive leads through the sales pipeline. This position assists with daily operation of the sales team ensuring smooth and efficient workflow and serves as a liaison for customers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Primary point of contact for customers.
  • Telephone prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, internet sites, and other sources.
  • Hands‑on involvement in marketing logistics, including quoting prices and credit terms, and preparing sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Call regular and prospective customers to solicit orders via phone or face‑to‑face.
  • Prepare reports of business transactions and track invoices and expense accounts against budget.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and current customers.
  • Coordinate customer.
Experience and Qualifications
  • High school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferably, but not required; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Organizational skills and ability to effectively multi‑task.
  • Experience in prospecting, appointment setting, and making a high volume of outbound calls.
  • Persistence and ability to overcome objections.
  • Ability to connect with individuals at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
