What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a driven candidate with a dynamic set of skills. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role encompasses appointment and meeting scheduling (demos), targeted outbound prospecting, and relationship building. As the initial point of contact for the company, SDRs must demonstrate strong product knowledge and an understanding of the target market.
The ideal candidate is initiative-driven, self-motivated, and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. SDRs who consistently meet or exceed expectations may be evaluated for future opportunities within our Account Executive team.
Duties Include- Maintain standard availability Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. CT
- Responsible for an assigned territory or portfolio of customers for remote sales development outreach
- Partner with Marketing to ensure qualified leads flow effectively through lead-handling processes
- Coordinate with Account Executives to understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities
- Reach out to prospects to promote new and existing products and services
- Select appropriate product information to meet individual customer needs and support upselling
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective customers
- Utilize Salesforce and other tools in the sales tech stack to track inbound leads, outbound outreach, and activities
- Identify prospect needs, determine viability, and book meetings for the appropriate Account Executive
- Proactively seek new opportunities within assigned territories and markets
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across Progress Learning products
- Support company-wide sales initiatives in collaboration with sales leadership
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Base salary with a variable compensation structure
