- Proactively reach out to Associations, Chambers of Commerce and other referral sources to pursue and create/sign referral partnerships to generate inbound warm leads for the Sales team.
- Identify, recruit, and nurture new Sales Partners through self-generated leads, professional networking, and leveraging personal industry connections.
- Travel 60–70% of the time in the field, engaging face‑to‑face with prospective partners to build trust, assess alignment, secure commitment, and close sales.
- Manage sales partner inquiries by entering leads into DLX CRM, maintaining timely follow‑ups and dispositions throughout the sales cycle.
- Track and review signed partnerships to ensure productivity standards are met.
- Develop comprehensive, competitive proposals to drive new business opportunities.
- Lead negotiations and related contract terms to protect Deluxe’s interests while meeting partner needs.
- Deliver timely and informative presentations to management regarding the sales funnel and opportunity movements.
- Create company advertising campaigns, media events, and attend industry conferences.
- Coordinate schedules and calling campaigns with a team of 2–5 appointment setters as needed.
- Bachelor’s in a related field with 2 years related experience or HS/GED with 4 years.
- Proven track record of extensive B2B sales experience.
- Working knowledge of MicrosoftSuite.
- 5–10 years in a sales-driven position presenting and building relationships.
- Background in the payment processing industry a plus.
- Assertive, innovative, and creative approach to sales a plus.
- Experience selling channel/referral partners (ISO, ISV, Agent, or referral partnerships) strongly desired.
- Self‑motivation.
- 50% or greater travel required based on partner needs.
