Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to help grow our business by connecting with local businesses, understanding their IT challenges, and introducing Nerds To Go  as a trusted technology partner. This is a consultative role, not a high-pressure sales job.

You will work closely with leadership and technical teams to identify opportunities, set meetings, and help move conversations forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and engage small and midsize businesses via phone, email, and local networking
  • Qualify leads and understand basic business IT needs
  • Schedule discovery calls and meetings for managed IT and project-based services
  • Follow up with prospects after estimates, proposals, or events
  • Maintain accurate notes and activity in CRM
  • Represent Nerds To Go  professionally in the local business community
  • Collaborate with technical staff to ensure smooth handoffs
What We Are Looking For
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Comfortable talking to business owners and decision makers
  • Organized, consistent, and follow-up driven
  • Interest in technology, cybersecurity, or business services
  • Prior B2B sales, business development, or customer-facing experience is a plus
  • MSP, SaaS, telecom, copier, payroll, or IT services background is helpful but not required
