Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative, with consultative sales approaches to develop new business opportunities and build long-term client partnerships, you will be tasked in utilizing CRM tools, maximizing digital marketing strategies, you will be identifying and engaging with potential decision makers, manage inbound leads, and organizing sales pipelines. You will be educating prospective clients through virtual and in-person meetings, demonstrating how the client's solutions can address business challenges, support compliance requirements, and meeting client need.

You'll also be tasked maintain relationships with key accounts while balancing primarily inside sales responsibilities with limited territory-based travel to support business growth.

• Minimum 2 years of new business development experience.
• College degree, or some college with relevant business development experience.
• Experience managing a sales pipeline and tracking activities within a CRM.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, being able to work in a team environment and having great rapport building skills.
• Ability to conduct web demonstrations and clearly communicate product benefits.
• Current Texas P&C Insurance License required; if not currently held, must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
• Ability to identify and contact decision-makers for client's products and services.
• Experience working and following up on inbound leads and able to maintain relationships with key accounts.
• Comfortable in a role consisting of approximately 85% inside sales and 15% outside sales, which includes quarterly travel within an assigned territory.

• Base Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
• Unlimited recurring commission structure, with ongoing annuity-style earnings that continue long after initial sale
