Electrical Controls Technician - Panel Shop

• Monday through Friday: 6:00 am to 2:40 pm
• Must be able to stay until 4:40 pm
• The pay rate is $26.00 to $27.00 an hour
• The job location is in Plano, Texas 75074
• Temp to Perm.

• Must possess a strong understanding of electrical principles and be able to develop and troubleshoot control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and other documentation is required for understanding and working with electrical systems.
• Understanding electric safety devices and proper grounding techniques is necessary for safe operation of electrical equipment.
• Assemble control panels according to specifications.
• Install and wire components such as switches, transformers, circuit breakers, motors and other critical elements.
• Must collaborate with team members and supervisors during daily stand‑ups and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy along with computer skills.
• Perform electrical and functional tests to verify compliance with industry and customer standards.
• Diagnose and resolve wiring or component issues that arise during the assembly or testing stages.

• 3+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices
• Ability to work with high‑voltage systems and complex machinery
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in manufacturing environments
