OverviewAs a Field Technician III, you will develop new skills, work in a safety‑minded environment, and join us in expanding technology for a better community. Responsibilities- Lead a Field Crew
- Read and understand a customer detail plan
- Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner
- Adhere to all company and industry standards/regulations (OSHA, etc.)
- Prepare drawings of field sketches using AutoCAD
- Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to telecommunications, commercial, residential, and light industrial applications
- Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work
- Review peer work product
- Other duties as assigned
- Safety is a part of your day to day
- Track record of completing work with a high level of quality
- Analytical, hands‑on approach to problem solving
- Interest in long‑term projects
- High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred
- 5+ years of general construction experience preferred; some cell tower industry experience highly preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; self‑starter, team player, and results‑oriented
- 21 years or older, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record to operate a company vehicle
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
- Experience with AT&T or Verizon Wireless Networks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commissioning and integration experience required
- Mobile Access Certification is a plus
- Ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers, and aerial platform equipment
- Ability to lead crews when the foreman is gone; DC/AC electrical skills
- Update equipment office records and installation specifications to document accurately “as built”
- Ability to work on ladders, demonstrated manual dexterity
- Adaptable to changing environments
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work up to 12 hours
- Must be available to work weekends, nights, in extreme weather, and to travel extensively
- Must work out of the market or away from home as work demands
Compensation: $25‑28 DOE
