We have partnered with our client in their search for a Core Java Developer.
Roles and Responsibilities- 1. Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- 2. Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- 3. Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- 4. Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- 5. Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- 6. Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- 7. Ensures successful collaboration across teams and stakeholders
- 8. Identifies and mitigates issues to execute a book of work while escalating issues as necessary
- 1. 8+ years of experience in information technology with an emphasis on application development, demonstrated experience with applications development throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- 2. Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- 3. Proficient in coding in one or more languages preferably Java.
- 4. Java Development: ability to create medium/large sized Java web applications from start to finish on their own. This includes but is not limited to the following: client interaction, validating requirements, system design, frontend/U development, interaction with a Java EE application server, web services, experience with the various Java EE APIs, development builds, application deployments, integration/enterprise testing, and support of applications within a production environment.
- 5. Experience in implementing Micro services using Spring Boot and Event Driven architecture.
- 6. Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- 7. Practical cloud native experience (preferably AWS).
- 8. Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- 9. Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
- 10. Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
- 1. Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines.
- 2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical degree.
- 3. Experience with high volume, mission critical applications.
