We are seeking a Principal Platform Engineer who will play a critical role in enabling the development, build, test, deployment, and release of enterprise applications.

His role focuses on maximizing uptime, minimizing errors, and accelerating delivery through a dynamic virtual platform that includes an automated software factory, digital showroom, and consumer feedback loops.

The engineer will work across the IT organization to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure, pipeline, and policy as code using custom accelerators.
  • Build extensible automation and dependency management frameworks.
  • Create event-driven functions, APIs, backend services, command-line interfaces, and self-service developer portals.
  • Ensure all work is covered by unit, security, governance, and functional testing using appropriate frameworks.
  • Customize and deploy delivery platforms to support rapid application development and value delivery.
  • Collaborate with peers to drive innovation and continuous improvement across the platform.
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of coding experience in Python, Type Script, or Golang.
  • 1+ years of scripting experience in Bash or Power Shell.
  • 6+ years of networking experience (security, DNS, VPN, cloud, load balancing).
  • 6+ years of systems administration experience with Linux or Windows.
  • 5+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of CI/CD experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with serverless or container-based architecture.
  • 4+ years of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
  • Ability to contribute autonomously to cloud and application orchestration code.
  • Experience deploying and managing tools such as Jenkins, monitoring, logging, and source control from code.
  • Advanced networking skills (e.g., tcpdump, network flow security analysis).
  • Experience with advanced authentication technologies (e.g., federated auth, SSO).
  • Fluency in Dev Ops principles and Agile practices.
