About the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join our engineering teams here a software engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our Azure-based web applications and backend systems. The Payments & Integrations Engineering team builds new data-processing products and improves existing ones, ensuring scalability, reliability and performance of our applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing and testing applications, providing innovative technical solutions and working collaboratively with the team to ensure our products are of the highest quality.
This role offers both a remote and hybrid option. Employees located within 30 miles of Plano TX are required to be in-office Tuesday through Thursday each week. Those residing beyond this radius may be considered for a fully remote arrangement, depending on experience and business needs.
- Design, develop, and test data-processing platforms & integrations
- Collaborate with the engineering team to build new products and improve existing ones
- Provide innovative technical solutions to improve functionality and add new product features
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code is maintained
- Integrate with various APIs & backends
- Build with scalability, reliability and performance in mind
- Support Staging, Testing, and Production environments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of development experience with .NET (C#), SQL, and RESTful APIs
- 5+ years of experience building platform and system applications in a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- 5+ years of experience working in Agile development teams
- Strong understanding of system architecture, including APIs, databases, and design patterns
- Solid grasp of system design principles and patterns
- Azure and Kubernetes experience (preferred; must be demonstrable)
- Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring team members
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills
- Positive, open-minded, and collaborative approach to teamwork
