- Design and develop scalable, secure, and configurable platform services for eligibility.
- Lead end‑to‑end development of services across backend (Java/Spring), integration platforms, and frontend (React/Angular).
- Build and extend APIs and data services to enable partner integrations and downstream systems.
- Integrate and operationalize AI‑powered developer tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) and contribute to incorporating ML‑backed capabilities into platform workflows.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and data teams to solve complex real‑world problems such as real‑time eligibility validation, data and interface integrations, data enrichment, and automated decision rules.
- Engage with our operations team to help them improve their overall efficiency.
- Drive architectural decisions and champion reusable patterns for cloud‑native, AI‑enabled backend systems.
- Mentor other engineers and influence best practices in system design, testing, and continuous delivery.
- 8+ years of experience as a full‑stack engineer.
- Strong expertise in Java & Spring, including microservices architecture.
- Experience with AI‑enhanced development tooling such as Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, or Wind Surf.
- Experience building frontend features in React/Angular, even if not your primary focus.
- Deep experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS preferred).
- Hands‑on experience with data architecture, SQL/Postgre
SQL, and building data‑intensive services. - Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Prior experience architecting, building, launching, and maintaining complex systems.
- Ability to balance speed and quality.
- A passion for mentoring other developers.
- Enjoy working with a collaborative, high‑performing team.
- Ability to participate in decision making while considering customer and company needs.
This is a hybrid position based in either Plano, TX, or Lehi, UT. Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office two days per week.
Pay ranges vary by location:
- Lehi, UT: $134,500 – $168,000 USD
- Plano, TX: $147,800 – $185,500 USD
