Role Overview We are seeking a Rust Engineer to create, maintain, support, and improve complex embedded platforms. The ideal candidate will apply their knowledge in a fast-paced and innovative environment. This role involves working on a virtual assistant stack and various backend services, including phone, navigation, and music functionalities for either cloud or embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the full software development life cycle.
* Write maintainable, extensible, well-tested, and well-documented code in Rust.
* Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility in alignment with architectural guidelines.
* Continuously integrate and deliver software components into fully functional software systems.
* Take ownership of assigned work through completion, ensuring all acceptance criteria are met.
* Deliver assigned work within expected timelines and proactively communicate risks or blockers.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
* Work closely with product owners to shape and deliver features.
* Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.

Required Qualifications
*
* Experience:

** 3+ years of software engineering experience.
** Technical

Skills:

*** Experience writing clean, concise, tested, and maintainable code in Rust.
* Experience deploying Rust applications to production or providing support for Rust applications in production.
* Hands-on experience applying current best practices and principles in software development.
* Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, such as Git Hub or Git Lab.
* Experience using Git.
** Professional
