Senior QA Automation Engineer - Mobile

10 is currently seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (Mobile) for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is a senior-level role focused on mobile software quality assurance within an Agile/Scrum development environment. The ideal candidate will leverage expert-level proficiency in Java and Selenium to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks. This position requires strong skills in API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and backend data validation to ensure quality excellence.

• Design and maintain robust automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, data-driven frameworks)
• Develop test automation using expert-level proficiency in Java and Selenium Web Driver
• Create comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases
• Perform API testing automation using tools like REST Assured or Postman
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions)
• Conduct regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Write and execute SQL queries for backend data validation
• Manage defect lifecycle and collaborate with development teams

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 7+ years of overall software quality assurance experience, with 5+ years focused on automation testing
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Expert-level proficiency in Java for test automation development
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium Web Driver
• Solid understanding of test automation best practices, design patterns, and coding standards
• Experience with test execution and reporting tools (e.g., TestNG, JUnit)
• Strong skills in API testing automation (e.g., REST Assured, Postman with automation)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI)
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket)
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for backend data validation
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of automation initiatives

• Experience with mobile automation testing (Appium)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
• Knowledge of static code analysis and code quality tools
• Previous experience mentoring or leading QA automation engineers
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and LLM observability
• Strong knowledge of the Payment domain in Banking
• Solid understanding of Financial terminology

$49.37 - $57.37 per hour
