** Full-stack  Engineers

* What You’ll Do:

**
* ** Lead & Mentor Engineering Teams:
** Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full-stack systems, driving solutions to meet regulatory and business needs.
* ** Advance Developer Experience & AI Workflows:
** Build and enhance internal tools, platforms, and AI-powered workflows—including Claude Code integrations and skills marketplaces—that reduce friction and accelerate software delivery across the organization.
* ** Empower Engineering Productivity:
** Invest in developer tooling to directly improve engineering productivity, code quality, and overall developer experience at scale.
* ** Deliver Cloud-Based Solutions:
** Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust, scalable AWS cloud solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve financial well-being.
* ** Leverage Modern Tech Stacks:
** Utilize programming languages (Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, Type Script), Open Source RDBMS and No

SQL databases, container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern AWS infrastructure.
* ** Drive Technical & Operational Excellence:
** Provide technical leadership across Agile teams by setting high standards for system design, software development, operational excellence, and a  you build it, you own it  ownership culture.
* ** Partner on Architecture & Strategy:
** Partner with enterprise architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks, while influencing long-term technology strategy by evaluating emerging tools.
* ** Reduce Technical Debt & Refactor:
** Proactively identify areas for improvement, implementing targeted refactoring to eliminate technical debt and optimize system performance.
* ** Foster Tech Community Engagement:
** Stay on top of emerging technology trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in internal and external tech communities, and mentor engineering peers.

* Basic Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
* At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
* At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
* 7+ years of experience coding with more than two of the following:
Python, Type Script, or Javascrip
* 3+ years of experience with database and database management systems
* 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or cloud-based productivity tools or virtualization technologies
* 4+ years of experience contributing to open source frameworks
* 3+ years of experience with front-end JavaScript or Type Script frameworks
* 4+ years of experience creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs
* 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks
