Location:
Plano, TX Duration: 25 months
Job Summary:
Geo Spatial Developer Java will design and build scalable geospatial applications using core Java frameworks and cloud native services. The role focuses on delivering secure RESTful services, integrating spatial data, and optimizing performance on AWS. The developer will collaborate with cross functional teams in a hybrid work model to create robust mapping solutions that support strategic business decisions and societal impact through location intelligence.

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend applications using Java J2EE and Spring Boot.
Working experience in ReactJS or Angular or Vue is an added advantage.
Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices to support frontend applications and third-party integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure application reliability and performance.
Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, and security.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings to share knowledge and improve processes.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks to continuously enhance development practices.
One AWS Certification Developer or Associate Mandatory.
11 to 13 years of experience in IT.Proficiency in Java J2EE with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related Spring modules, e.g., Spring Security and Spring Data.
Knowledge of building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML.
Working experience in frontend technologies like Angular, React, or Vue.js is a plus.
Familiarity with relational databases, e.g., MySQL and PostgreSQL, and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
Experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker.
Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred
Skills:
Experience with AWS cloud platform.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Git Lab CI.Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
